When Whimsie returned home from school, her mother, father and Grandma Etta were playing a serious game of  Scrabble in the dining room.  Friday afternoons are made for Scrabble in the Carter family household. Whimsie loves playing with Grandma Etta because she is known as the family’s Scrabble champion. Grandma Etta is as tough as nails and she would never allow Whimsie to win just because she is a kid and Whimsie likes the challenge!
